Mari and water, a dynamic combination. Mari loved being in, playing in, basically anything to do with in the water.
From the time Mari was a baby, she loved to go swimming. My husband‘s family was always amazed that I could put her in the swimming pool and she had the time of her life. She didn’t mind if the water got in her face. She just giggled and had a blast.
As most of you know I’ve been writing a book about what happened with our little girl. In the book there is a dedication section from family and friends to include teachers and aides that have written something either to our about Mari. One of the dedications is by the teacher who taught Mari the longest. Her name is Julie Ahlbach. Her dedication is so precious. But here’s a small snippet I had to share with you now: “And anyone who knows Mari knows she was Queen of the Puddles. That girl could find and jump in a puddle before her assistant had a clue she was gone.”
I wish I had better pictures of Mari in the water than below but these are the ones I could find for now.
