Great loves of our life. Depending on the person, there can be many great loves or only a few to maybe only just one.

For me, my first great love is for my Heavenly Father in heaven. It is through Him all things are possible.

My next great love is for my husband Keith. In my childhood there were many kinds of abuse that happened to me and as a result shaped who I am today, or at least partly shaped. I don’t have the greatest self-esteem. I have issues with letting go of control. I don’t have very good patience which can quickly lead to frustration. There are some other things that have also affected my marriage as a direct result of abuse. Through all of this and also losing our daughter we have remained strong and have become stronger. I feel blessed to have his man in my life. He really is my other half where we come together and make one.

My next great loves are for my beloved daughter now in heaven as well as our niece and nephew that have now become our son and daughter. My husband and I would do anything we can for these two. God has blessed us with these two beautiful children.

Then there is my writing. I never though I’d get to a point of actually saying that I love to write, but it has happened. It has become a great love in my life. Now that I have it I couldn’t imagine a day without it. I have been truly blessed with this gift God has given me.

So those are some of my great loves. I’d live to hear some of yours. For me, my great lives are why I continue to strive to do good and be the best woman I can be.
