Over the last couple of weeks I’ve started going through Mari’s stuff. I still remember the day we went into the house we’d been renting and sat there packing up every single item that either was Mari’s or we needed for her. Nothing got thrown away. Been a little absent
I'm sure those of you who have been following me here have noticed I went silent over the month of December. Most might think it was because of the holidays and in particularly Christmas. Working with Your Own Children
I feel honored to say that I get to work with my niece/daughter almost everyday. I have the privilege of being able to homeschool her. We spend more time together now than I could ever have been able to when I was working full-time. I mean, I ended up changing my schedule so that we would drop her and her brother off at the before school childcare program that was on Fort Knox. On a temporary break
Here recently I haven't been able to be as consistent with writing on here due to my move from Fort Knox, Kentucky, to JBER, Alaska. I thought about this a lot and I need to temporarily put my 365 day journey temporarily on hold. End of Another Month
It's hard to believe that another month on my quest to write for 365 days has gone by. This month has been so different for me and my family this month. We have officially moved to Anchorage, Alaska, from Fort Knox, Kentucky. For those who don't know, my husband is currently serving in the Army. The Waiting Game
I sit here at work on my lunch thinking about my upcoming afternoon. I am anxious because of what I must do. I have an appointment at 3pm with a security investigator to get my security clearance. I have to get this for the tentative job I was offered as a government service worker on Fort Knox as a GS-5. Rules aren’t meant to be followed right?!?!
I just love it when people completely disregard the rules. NOT! Keith and I live here in Kentucky. He is stationed at Fort Knox. The dreaded deed has been done
It seems like recently everything has been going okay. I've been doing okay. We left on Thursday to go down to Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Keith just received his orders to report there on April 26. What we found out is that housing is of a valued commodity. We only saw two places, and those two may not even be available by the time we get down there. I guess it is what it is.
