From the moment we are born we have to go by instinct to get things done. Think about it. No one taught us how to hold our heads up. We just eventually did. No one taught us how to sit up. We just did. No one taught us how to crawl, or walk, or any number of things. We just did. How about that new job you took. Did you know everything you needed to know from the moment you started to work or did instinct have to kick in at some point and just went with the flow? Obviously you need to know some thing but many are by our instincts. What will make the job the best. How we do things for better time management.
And think about being a parent. Do we honestly have any clue how to be a parent when our new little baby is placed into our arms. Maybe a little from things we’ve seen or how our parents raised us. Maybe by watching those around us with their kids. In the end, however, it’s more about hands on experience and going with our guts to figure it out. In a sense, we’re winging it. It’s how we’re able to learn what we need to do.
There is so much trial and error. We figure out if this worked and if it didn’t we try something new the next time. In life we see this a lot because there is no possible way we could all know everything we need to at any given time. It takes a learning curve to get there.
How about you? What have been some moments where you had to wing it?
