I feel blessed the I am a member of the ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) group. It has been through this group that I have received the obvious, lots of help improving my writing. But more than that I have start to form some of the most wonderful friendship. The road that it took me to get to this group has been an interesting one but God knew in his timing when the right time would be.
On my www.kristenatunstall.com website, I have started to new weekly columns. One is where I feature a book on Monday’s and the other is called ‘The Journey’ that is on Thursday. For ‘The Journey’ I have the person answer this question: How have you seen God work in your writing journey?
The Monday column is for published authors but the Thursday column is not. It is for anyone who writes and how God has worked in their journey. It could be an author but it could also be a blogger, a newspaper columnist, or even if someone just writes in their journal on a daily basis. The first one will post this Thursday, July 12.
Now for the reason I am actually writing today and mentioned all that I did above (I can sometimes get a little off track 🙂 ). Someone who will be featuring their new fiction book in January told me about another book that they just released through Thomas Nelson Publishing. It is called Grieving God’s Way: the Lasting Path to Hope and Healing. I wish this book at been around when Mari passed as I think it would have been able to help in some small way (as nothing can really alleviate the pain of losing a child).
I think this will be a great book for anyone who has lost someone. I just wanted to share a little bit about it.

Good to hear that you are learning from the writer’s group. I have associations with 3 local groups but it seems that I’m always working when they meet. So I enjoy the CW group when I can.

Chris, I know what you mean. The writer’s groups I have been apart of have been so much help. I appreciate every single member as they help so much.
