Time, is there really ever enough of it? No, not really.
How many times have you heard someone say they wish they just had two or three more hours in a day to do something? I’ve heard it many times throughout my lifetime. It’s probably been like this since the beginning. However, no matter how much we would wish it to be true, we will always have just twenty-four hours in a day.
The thing is even if we did have those two or three more hours in a day those wouldn’t seem enough either. We’d always want more time. So what do we have to do to make those twenty-four hours work? I think it simple, yet can be very difficult at the same time. We need to learn to manage our time better.
However, sometimes we look at time not as in hours of the day but like time is getting away from us. Then, one day, something happens in our lives to make us realize how truly short life is and that time is oh so precious. That we need to make the best of our time today because we never know when that time might be up.
I wrote a lot about time through my grief journey over losing Mari, especially that first year. Here are a couple of posts I wrote about time: http://mommysangelinheaven.com/2008/10/23/time-2/ or http://mommysangelinheaven.com/2008/12/27/time-and-how-precious-it-really-is/
In the end, time is what you make of it. I’ve learned that you have to make each moment count because in the end we don’t know when our time has come to an end. Mari taught so many of us that it doesn’t matter how old you are that when God know we’ve served our purpose then He brings us home to Him. Just think, I know I will get to see my beloved baby girl again someday. It’s just a matter of when.

Visiting during the #atozchallenge. I hope your blog is helping you to write your way to healing for you and your family after the loss of your daughter. There never seems to be enough TIME to do all the things I would like to do, but when hurting, time stretches before me.

Thank you Bonnie for stopping by. I’ve been loving the challenge so far this year. This is my second time doing it. As for time management, there just never seems to be enough hours in the day.
