What better word could describe my Baby Girl than nonstop? Well, I know there are many other but this one most certainly sits at the top of my list.
It’s hard to remember a time when she wasn’t on the go. Even sitting down to read a book she’d be flapping her arms in excitement or doing something with her hands besides just reading.
Watching a movie meant she did her own little dance around the room in front of the TV. As many parents have said before, I’d loved to have bottled up some of her energy either for myself or to sell as it could probably keep a small city going. Watching her could almost make you tired because she never seemed to slow down.
There were however those rare times where she’d finally wear herself out and fall asleep in a chair or on the floor. In those moments, she looked so angelic, so peaceful. Almost like you could watch her for hours. But it was always short-lived as she was rearing and ready to go onto the next adventure before we knew it.
I can look back and see how much I miss those moments of just watching her have fun and hardly ever letting anything bother her. She lived in the moment and Mari’s own nonstop way.
