First I want to thank everyone for being loyal readers of my site. I appreciate the time you take to come and read about those who have a book they are sharing or sharing their writing journey with all of us and how God has been their with them through it.
At the very end of August my husband and I had to make a sudden, unexpected decision in regards to whether or not I would try to keep my job or officially quit due to pain issues that start back in March and have kept me out of work since mid-May timeframe. We made the decision to have me officially quit. As a result we also decided to pull our niece our of the Christian school to save the money we were paying toward it and put it toward the up and coming move to Alaska as my husband has received orders from the Army. As a result I am now homeschooling her and as a result the last month has been nothing but a whirlwind from trying to buy the curriculum, to planning out the school year and actually getting into the swing of thing with our schedule on a daily basis while still attending all my doctor and physical therapy appointments in between.
I just got through most, but not all of my emails that I have even touch in almost a month over the past few days. I realize during this time I have had several Featured Books and The Journey posting that needed to be scheduled and posted but I have been unable to get to anything until recently. Even my writing has been put on hold as a result.
I wanted to let all my loyal followers know that I have not disappeared but had been a little detained in posting these threads. I plan to contact all those that have either had a date that has passed or is coming up and rescheduling everyone’s posting. I’m sorry if I have let any of you down. Please continue to pray for me during this major change. By March time frame official moving time will commence and onto a new adventure as we take about 45 days driving from Kentucky all the way to Alaska with stopping to see family in Illinois, California, Oregon, and Washington.

Hey Kristena, sorry to hear things are difficult right now, but it seems you are following God’s leading and letting Him direct your steps. As far as my journey article due the end of October, if you need me to wait, that’s fine. I haven’t put it all together anyway. Just let me know when you want it. If you still want it in October, however, let me know that also. Thanks! Praying for a sucessful move. My brother lives in Alaska. Him and his family love it 🙂

Jennifer, thank you so much for your understanding comments. I truly appreciate it. I know God is in all of this and I see His blessings in so many things. Even my writing I’m seeing just how much He has been blessing it.

You are in my prayers. You know sometimes these “setbacks” are actually setups for God to do a work.

Terri, you are so right. It’s weird but in the last couple of days I have finally been feeling motivated about getting to my story to edit it and tonight I actually plan to do it. God sure does work in mysterious ways. I just glad I’m in those mysterous ways as He works in my life.

Kristena, {{{{HUGS}}}} Assignment changes are difficult at best and it seems you’re working under adverse conditions. Amazing to hear the strength and confidence in your words that you are following God’s leading. Will be praying for you and yours.
Whenever you need to post my September 24th blog is fine. If you need me to send the information again. Just let me know.
God speed. I’ll be praying for travel mercies for you and your family.

Judythe, thank you for your understanding. It is so appreciated. I feel God wants me to put my writing website temporarily on hold until after the move and we’ve become settled in Alaska. And in the meantime I finally feel energized about editing my book. It’s been weird but I just couldn’t get motivated to do it but in the last week I went through my email again and just started becoming active. And then I have recieved three important critiques back on my WIP that has my juices finally flowing so can’t wait to get started editing.
I most definitely want to post your writing. I will contact you probably around July/August timeframe to post it. Thank you again for you kind words.

Kristena, this is proof I have not been keeping up with my e-mail adequately. I starred your message a few days ago but did not have time then to read it. When I read it just now, it told me why you had not been able to confirm my submission of my post and photos on Sept. 29. Not realizing your situation, I had just sent another request for confirmation a few minutes ago, along with a couple of questions.
I certainly understand that with all you are dealing with, you could not get back to me. I have been struggling to keep up with my own schedule also. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few weeks ago and I have been dealing with health issues as well.
We both must trust that God is faithful and when we can’t walk, He will take us in His arms and carry us. I will be praying for you and will wait until such time you are able to contact me about my blog post. God bless!

Laura, thank you so much for your understanding. I love your words about how when we can’t walk that God will carry us. We both seem to be having a lot going on in our lives. Thank you for your prayers and I will pray for you as well.
