This might be an age-old question. It's said that if you say half empty you are a pessimist or maybe a realist, whereas if you say half full you are an optimist. Day 2: Sacred Space
When I think of "Sacred Space" I think of it more in the abstract. I can be sitting in my living room in my comfy cozy chair or like I am now, writing this on my Kindle as I walk on my treadmill. Switchbacks up the mountain can mean so many things. I think life in general is a continuous road where we travel up and down the mountain. Sometimes it's more like an easy hill that we climb and where life seems to move forward at a nice pace. Am I more or less like to complete the NaBloPoMo for December?
I can honestly say I don't know. Don't get me wrong. I will do everything I can to keep up to date with all postings to the best of my ability, but the reality is that life happens, as so many of us know. A Change Coming
Well, after much thought and how I'd like to proceed forward with both this site and my author site, I realized that my 365 day journey I've been doing along with the book A Year of Writing Dangerously: 365 Days of Inspiration and Encouragement that it is more appropriate for my author site than here. And the NaBloPoMo I did here the first month then I moved it this month to my author site where it is more appropriate for here. So why not switch them. Happy Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving. It's a time of year where families gather round their tables to eat a big feast of turkey, ham, yams, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, apple pie, pumpkin pie, or whatever family tradition yours might have. Endings…
Aren't they bitter-sweet? Some can be fantastic, like when you write the last word of your book and can say, "The End." And other endings may bring nothing but sadness and grief, like losing a loved one. Either way, the ending may be sad because even though you may be happy that your done with whatever you were doing, you may still miss that time spent on it.
